ALEN

Alen joined TFFT in January 2008 when he started school at Usa River Academy in Usa River, Tanzania. He comes from Good Hope Orphanage Centre and is joined at Usa River by fifteen other children from the Centre, all TFFT children. In total, the 32 new TFFT children at Usa River made the transition to a new environment an easy one. Alen is one of the brightest kids of the group when it comes to academics. He tested better than any of his peers on the entry exam and will certainly shine in the classroom.

Alen is a do-it-yourselfer kind of guy. He is not concerned with the kind of job he might want one day, but more concerned about having the ability to build his own house. He sees his education as essential to his chances of accomplishing this goal. He loves to study English and Math in the classroom and believes they are the most important subjects because they help him to communicate with people from all over the world.
