Hunter FlintHunter will take on the roll of Managing Director for Tanzania. He will be responsible for facilitating our sponsorship and teacher's ed programs on the ground as well as overseeing Tanzania's Step Up program. He will not only assist in building and opening school libraries, he will be the face of The Foundation for Tomorrow on the continent. A committed champion for underprivileged, Hunter joined TFFT in January 2007 after graduating from the University of Virginia, where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree in history, focusing on Africa. While at UVa, Hunter volunteered for the Head Start Early Childhood Development Program and coached middle school lacrosse at Saint Anne's Belfield. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hunter is the son of Anne and Hank Flint, with older brother Peter and younger sister Sarah. During his spare time, Hunter enjoys writing and playing music and playing in pick-up basketball games. |
