HELENA
Helena is from the Maasai tribe. Her mother died during childbirth, and her father, since remarried, is now living in northern Tanzania with his wife and children. Helena is one of the very first children The Foundation for Tomorrow found sponsorship for. She is a triplet; her two brothers, Yusufu and Mathayo, are also part of The Foundation for Tomorrow's sponsorship program.

They have all been attending school at Fikiria Kwanza Academy since 2005. Helena is a bright young girl -- since her placement at Fikiria Kwanza, she has excelled in her new favorite subject: English.
