DICKSON
Daniel

Dickson joined TFFT this January when he started fourth grade at Usa River Academy in Usa River, Tanzania. He comes from Good Hope Orphanage Centre in Usa River as well. He and fifteen other children from the Centre started at their new school together. Dickson is a bright kid with a big smile and a lot of potential. When he grows up Dickson wants to be a tour guide. His new school and the Centre are located on the road to Arusha National Park and it is obvious that the coming and going of different tour companies has greatly influenced him. He wants to be in a big safari truck showing tourists from around the world his beautiful country.

In school, he loves to study English because he believes this subject will have the most direct impact on the opportunities he might find in tourism later. He studies extremely hard and knows when to ask for help. His good friend Salvatory, another TFFT student, teaches him outside of the classroom. Like any young boy in Tanzania, soccer is his favorite way to spend an afternoon and so everyday after school he hits the field until they make him leave. We are thrilled to have Dickson with us and look forward to seeing what the future has in store for him.

Whilst Dickson is in our Scholarship Program, he still lacks a sponsor. If you or anyone you know is interested in becoming his sponsor please contact us at Info@thefoundationfortomorrow.org. Thanks!
