Ombeni joined TFFT in January 2008 when he started school at Usa River Academy in Usa River, Tanzania. He comes from Good Hope Orphanage Centre up the road from his new school. He and fifteen other children from the Centre all started school together. Ombeni has got this whole education thing down to the t. His concept of school is first you work hard, then you get money and finally you help your friends and family. His favorite subject is science and likes it because he can help people and animals. Living only minutes away from Arusha National Park, there are plenty of wild animals that would entice a young boy like Ombeni into that field. When he isn’t learning about animals, he plays soccer with his friends and according to some of his friends is a great storyteller.
