Denise McFadden joins The Foundation For Tomorrow from New Jersey as the Chairman of our Board. In conjunction with TFFT staff and the Board of Directors, Denise will use her passion and knowledge of Africa and the healthcare industry to affect change in the lives of the children of Tanzania through the gift of education. With this she intends to provide as many children as possible with a safe home environment that enables them to make the most of their own gifts.

Throughout the last 30 years in the healthcare industry Denise has been responsible for the support of clinical trials of HIV and Hepatitis drugs currently approved for the management of each of the diseases. In 2003, Denise spent 3 months in Tanzania volunteering at the Nkoaranga Orphanage. During this time, she realized that while she could help by raising money for school and medical supplies, this was not going to be sustainable for a long period of time. She continued to travel back and forth to be with the children and to insure their health and well-being while still searching for some answers and a way to help that would insure their future. Through a chance encounter with Meghann Gunderman, Denise is now involved in the TFFT’s work to provide an education to the orphans in Tanzania.

Denise comes to TFFT with previous experience in managing the infectious disease Business Unit for LabCorp, headed up clinical research studies for HIV and Hepatitis in the US for IATEC and now currently working for Covance Central Laboratory Services supporting pharmaceutical and biotech drug development.

Denise also has spent countless hours raising funds and awareness for causes beyond TFFT, including but not limited to the American Heart Association, Elizabeth Glasser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Palotta AIDS Rides, and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center for AIDS services. Her experience in the healthcare field and commitment to these children are a huge asset to The Foundation For Tomorrow and our continued ability to affect change in these orphaned and abandoned children’s lives.
