The Foundation for Tomorrow
Daniel Stephen

Here at TFFT, Daniel is our Program Coordinator for our After School Tuition Program. He runs the program Monday through Saturday; tutoring the kids in Math, Physics and Chemistry. Daniel has enlisted the help of two other tutors, Andrew and Haika, to help assist him with various subjects.

Before joining TFFT, Daniel attended Mukidoma High School in Arusha, Tanzania and received his Advanced certificate in secondary school. In school Daniel participated in various clubs and activities; including science club, football and interclass competition (as both the organizer and participant). After finishing school Daniel joined a group of four people which climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru as a fundraiser for Baobab Orphanage Center.

Daniel helps to monitor the children’s academic performance and development in addition to coordinating and supervising the tuition program on a daily basis. He is happy to have these types of experiences and challenges as a young man, and wishes to work for an organization to help take care of others. He wants to ensure his community is healthy and happy, while fighting against HIV/AIDS and promoting development within his country.

Right now Daniel is studying Accounting at the Institute of Accountancy Arusha and soon hopes to achieve his degree. He is the first born and grew up in Dar es Salaam, but is originally from the Kilimanjaro region.
